Technical Difficulties.

April 26, 2009

Our desktop computer spazzed out. Went kaput. Is no longer functioning properly.

This means, without a giant headache, I cannot upload photos. Which, of course, means boring blog posts.

Not to worry, we bought a new CPU. It is on the way. Hopefully, I’ll get all of my necessary programs loaded onto the new computer, get back online and get back to posting things of interest soon!

Most of our files were “backed up” on our external hard drive. Whew. I just did that about a month ago – Thank God!

Fortunately, I am still able to use the old desktop, in short spurts, to edit my pile of work. Unfortunately, it locks up after just about every image. Fabulous.

Things should return to normal shortly after we get the new ‘puter ;)

Happy Easter.

April 11, 2009

We have a bird who has made a nest on our back porch.

-by “our”, I mean mine, Abe’s and my parents’ back porch because, yes, we are still living in the basement. We’re working on changing that very soon…-

She is beautiful.

She also made some eggs.

They’re pretty too!

For some reason, these images made me think of Easter. Is it because of the eggs? Maybe? Though they’re not dyed varying shades of cute pastels.

I think it has more to do with the birth of new lives.

I thank God that he gave his only Son to be sacrificed for my sins so that I could have everlasting life. How amazing is He?! Man! I, like, totally love Him :)

Have a wonderful and blessed Easter with the ones you love! Reflect on what it’s all about. It’s truly, amazingly awesome.

Recent Sessions :)

April 11, 2009

An update!

You’re all shocked, I just know it :)

The following sessions took place quite a while back and the “subjects” already have their images, so I decided to post them a little differently this time.

Both of these sessions took place more than a month and a half ago. Could I be more behind on my blogging?

The first session was a large family session that I shot down in Medora. It was such a beautiful drive down to the session – new snow had fallen, it was a lazy afternoon without too much traffic on the roads. I loved it!

The family was a lot of fun too!

Great family – great session!

Then, I shot my first wedding! Holy moly! I was shocked to be asked to participate in some body’s big day.

The couple was referred to me by my best pal, Jackie. Her cousin, Israel, and his partner of many years, Sarah, finally decided to tie the knot in a small, family only ceremony in Columbus. I was the only non-family person at the ceremony. What a privilege!

Fun times!

I have two senior sessions to post soon, as well.

It’s nice to finally be caught up on all my editing. Next week I have three sessions so I’ll be pretty busy again. It’s so much fun that I don’t even mind :)

We Are Alive :)

April 2, 2009

I promise!

We’ve both been so busy. There are a lot of exciting things going on right now and we can’t wait to update all of you!

The semester is wrapping up for me and I can’t wait to be done. Then, only eight more classes and I’ll have my bachelor’s degree – finally!

I’ve been keeping busy with my photography too. I’m editing three sessions at the moment. Busy, busy, busy!

Of course, we have to make time for relaxation as well! We are looking forward to this weekend. We have no plans! That’s a first in a long time. We’re both looking forward to sleeping in.

I will post some pictures sooooon. You know, once I have time to edit all of them!

Love to you all! We hope everyone is doing fantastic! God bless :)
